This Sahara Brand Kit Mockup for Canva is a brand display kit in a neutral palette. It exudes a breezy feeling of warmth, serenity, stability, and content. And it works just like Photoshop!

The bundle includes 8 mockups with 10 individual brand objects (featuring Canva frames) to insert your designs to. 22 Natural props have been added to the layouts to add depth, interest, and character. Each of the mockups is pre-created and ready for you to use straight away.

Additional custom assets including 4 backgrounds and 4 shadow overlays are also part of this bundle to help add extra atmosphere to your mockups and make them look more realistic and professional.

The stationery items are international standard (ISO) proportions (A4, A5, A6, DL, etc). If your designs are in US metric sizes then it’s advisable to resize them to ISO dimensions first before inserting them into the frames, for the best fit.

The natural aesthetic of this Sahara Mockup Bundle for Canva is pleasing to the eye as the warm, earthy tones are grounding and associated with natural formations like sand, stone, rust, rock, grasses, resting, and sunny days. This is why I’ve used objects made from these materials in this kit. This can be reinforced by using the custom backgrounds included in this kit, or your own similar backgrounds. The shadow overlays add a feeling of breezy relaxation and content.

Floating objects with realistic drop shadows have been used to add depth and interest to your mockups and help your designs stand out in an attractive and professional way. Shadows are tinted to match the mockup backgrounds for better realism. 

What can you use this product for?

As a brand designer myself, I know how important it is to be able to display your projects in a way that your buyers will find attractive. The display images of a design in your portfolio or online shop play a huge part in selling your designs because they show your buyers how your work looks in a realistic setting.

The ‘3D’ rending of objects in these mockups is created by layering objects and adjusting their drop shadow positions and intensity to make them appear as if they’re floating, and add to the aesthetic appeal, while the shadow overlays add emotional depth to the final result.

How to use this Sahara Brand Mockup Kit for Canva

Once you’ve download the zip file, open the user PDF and navigate to the last page where you’ll find the license details and also the link to access your Sahara Brand Mockups. The link will take you to a Canva template containing all 8 mockups as well as separate pages in the template containing the stationery items, props, backgrounds and overlays. The backgrounds and overlays are also supplied independently of the template in 2 separate folders.

IMPORTANT: Please read the page notes included in the Canva template for individual instructions on each of the mockups. There are specific ways that the shadow overlays need to be used to ensure they behave in Canva.

To use any of the mockups, all you need to do is drag and drop your JPG or PNG (not transparent is best) design straight into the custom-created clip frames. Underling shadows and lines of objects will remain visible, just like in Photoshop. You can edit the transparency of the frames after you’ve added your designs to make your image darker or lighter, depending on how dark or light your design is. Drop shadows are separate objects that can also be edited. See the PDF user guide with more detailed info and make sure you read the notes in the Canva template.

Once you’ve added all your designs, you can use the mockups as-is, or you can change the background colour, add your own backgrounds, or use the ones supplied. If you want a different object arrangement, then duplicate the mockup of your choice and move the objects around to create your own arrangement. If you want additional props, you can add your own or use ones from any of my other Scene Creator bundles to further customize and add interest to your designs.
