Use this Easter Egg mockup for Canva to share your art, patterns or designs, or just to create fun Easter-themed graphics for greeting cards, wall printables, social posts, stickers, e-cards – or anything you can think of. It works like Photoshop. Quick and easy drag and drop of patterns or designs into the custom-created clip frames for a realistic and professional end-product. Change the flower colors to match your design. It includes top and front views, with and without the flowers.

How to use this Easter Egg Mockup for Canva

Once you download the User PDF, navigate to the last page where you’ll find the license details and also the link to access the bunny easter egg mockup template. The link will take you to a single Canva template containing a cover page followed by the mockup.

To use the mockups, all you need to do is drag and drop your JPG or PNG (not transparent is best) design or pattern straight into the custom-created clip frame. Your design will look like it’s been printed onto the Easter Egg surface. Just like it would in a Photoshop mockup. The side shadows will remain visible. You can edit them to be darker or lighter, depending on how dark or light your design is by adjusting the transparency of the frame. See the PDF user guide with more detailed info. The Canva file also contains detailed user instructions for the mockup in the page notes.

Images that work well include alcohol-ink, tie-die or watercolor textures, and patterns or solid colors. You could get your kids to fill a page with Easter patterns then photograph or scan them and upload them to Canva and drop them into the bunny-egg frame to display their art on the egg surface.

High quality, fully editable images will ensure a neat and professional end product.

Once you’ve opened the template it will save in your designs folder. When you open a new design, navigate to the ‘all your designs’ folder in the left sidebar, find this template (you’ll recognize it by the cover graphic), click on it, then select it to insert it into your new design. This way you won’t be fiddling with the original either.

You can customize the surface color with one click. Drag and drop or clip your design onto the mockup surface of your choice, add your own background color or texture, add objects from any of my Scene Creator bundles to further customize and add interest to your designs. Drop shadows can be edited by selecting just the shadow section of the object and adjusting the tint, blur or opacity. Instructions are included in the download PDF.
