Outfit 1 Mockup for Canva

This Outfit 1 Mockup Template for Canva is the first in a series of mockups I hope to create featuring different outfits compiled from different clothing items. You’ll be able to mix and match items from different mockups to create loads of new combos.

This sort of mockup is perfect for showing clients what your patterns or surface designs will look like printed on fabric and turned into a garment. It’s also great for fabric designers and sellers to show your buyers how your fabrics will look like when sewn into fashionable garments (see details below on how to do this). T-shirt designers can use it to show how their tee art will look printed on a shirt and incorporated into an outfit.

This mockup features 4 clothing items (belted pants, tee with side knot, ladies sneakers with satin laces, a handbag) with custom-created clip frames that you can drag and drop your JPG or PNG designs straight into. Some areas of the items also have sections that can be color-edited, as follows:

• belted pants: the belt and buckle colors can be edited.
• ladies sneakers: the satin laces and inner sole colors can be edited.
• t-shirt: the inner collar and tag can be color edited.

There are 4 different layouts using the 4 fashion items, but you can move them around and rearrange them to create your own designs.

How to use this Outfit 1 mockup template for Canva

This mockup works the same way as my others in Canva – similar to how Photoshop mockups work.

Click on any of the object clip frames to change their colour to your custom colour. Then overlay your text or vector design onto the surface.

Or drag and drop your JPG or PNG photo or pattern design into the custom clip frame of any object. You can adjust the clip frame to be more or less transparent, depending on the darkness of your design. If you want the underlying texture to be more visible, reduce the transparency. If you want the texture to be less visible for a lighter design, increase the transparency.

You can also overlay text or vector graphics onto the frame surfaces.

Fabric sellers, photograph your fabrics from a height, or hanging without creases, then upload your photo to Canva and insert into the object frames.

Each item has a separate drop shadow that can be edited by clicking on it and adjusting the transparency darker or lighter, or editing the hue, brightness, saturation, etc. to work more realistically with your background.

The mockups can be used as-is or you can add your own background colour or texture, and/or props. If you’re looking for great props to add, choose some from my Scene Creator Bundles.

This template is large at 6000 x 4000px (that’s 508 x 340mm). The items are high-quality at 300dpi. If you want to work in a smaller file size, either resize the templates (for Canva Pro), or (for Free Canva) create a new blank design the size you want, navigate to the ‘all your designs’ folder in your Canva sidebar, Choose the Outfit 1 mockup template, and click on the page you want to add to your design. Canva will automatically reduce it to fit into your new design dimensions.

These are custom made by me, digitally, so you won’t find the exact same ones anywhere else. Please note that only a standard standard license (enclosed with product) is available currently. This means that you can use these in your business, but you can’t resell mockups made with this product (yet).
